Units are water and dust resistant with an IP67 rating for reliable outdoor operation. This kit ships without a hard drive (HDD sold separately). For reliable 24/7 recording and smooth playback, add a surveillance-grade HDD such as WD Purple or Seagate SkyHawk, sized to how many days of footage you want to keep.
