Overview

HIKVISION's DS-2SE7C432MWG-EB/26(F0) is a TandemVu PTZ that combines two cameras in one housing. A fixed panoramic channel (3632 × 1632, 2.8 mm, about 180° horizontal) keeps the whole scene in view in colour using ColorVu and up to 30 m of white light, while the 4MP PTZ channel (2560 × 1440) zooms 32x optically from 5.9 to 188.8 mm to pick out faces and number plates.

Because the panorama never moves, nothing is missed while the PTZ is zoomed in. Panorama linkage, tracking takeover and auto-tracking let the PTZ follow people and vehicles that trigger AcuSense line crossing, intrusion and region entry/exit rules. The PTZ channel has IR up to 200 m, 120 dB WDR and image stabilisation. It is IP66 rated, runs on 24 VAC or Hi-PoE (max. 60 W) and records to a microSD card up to 256 GB.

Ideal Use Cases

Large car parks and logistics yards: The 180° panorama watches the whole lot while the PTZ zooms in on the vehicle or person that triggered an event.

Industrial and commercial perimeters: Auto-tracking follows intruders along fence lines, with 200 m IR for unlit areas.

Shopping centres, campuses and public spaces: One mounting point replaces a fixed overview camera plus a separate PTZ.

Construction and rural sites: Wide colour overview at night plus long-range zoom on site entrances and plant.

Control rooms and guarded sites: Operators keep situational awareness on the panorama while steering the PTZ.

Buyer Tips

Budget Hi-PoE or 24 VAC. Use a Hikvision Hi-PoE injector or switch port rated for 60 W, or a 24 VAC supply.
Mount high and central. A pole or building corner gives the panorama a clear 180° view and lets the PTZ reach the far edges.
Record both channels. Each channel uses its own NVR channel, so allow two channels and the bandwidth for both streams.
Mind the white light. The panoramic white light can affect neighbours; schedule it or use event-triggered mode near homes.
Check NVR firmware. Use a current Hikvision NVR for TandemVu linkage, smart events and Hik-Connect viewing.

FAQs

1. What does TandemVu mean on the DS-2SE7C432MWG-EB/26(F0)?

It has two cameras: a fixed 180° panoramic channel and a 4MP PTZ with 32x optical zoom, so the overview keeps recording while the PTZ zooms in.

2. What is the night-time range?

The PTZ channel has IR up to 200 m. The panoramic channel stays in colour using ColorVu and white light up to 30 m.

3. Does it follow people and vehicles automatically?

Yes. Auto-tracking and panorama linkage let the PTZ follow targets that trigger detection rules on the panorama.

4. What power does it need?

24 VAC or Hi-PoE, with a maximum draw of 60 W. A standard PoE switch port is not enough.

5. Does it record audio?

There is no built-in microphone. It has a line-in and line-out for an external microphone and speaker.
