Overview
HIKVISION's DS-96128NI-I16 is a 3U Super NVR for large camera systems. It records up to 128 IP cameras with 576 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, and supports recording resolutions up to 32MP (32MP and 24MP on channels 1 to 4 when ultra HD mode is enabled). Storage sits in 16 hot-swap SATA bays of up to 10 TB each, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 to protect footage if a drive fails.
Two independent 4K HDMI outputs and a VGA output drive local monitors, and four Gigabit RJ45 network ports handle camera and client traffic. There are no PoE ports, so cameras are powered by PoE switches. An eSATA port and optional mini SAS interfaces add storage expansion, with 16 alarm inputs and 8 outputs, RS-232/RS-485 and USB 3.0. Hard drives are not included.
