The DHI-NVR4208-8P-AI/ANZ is an 8-channel network video recorder from Dahua's WizSense AI series, designed for small to medium businesses. It features built-in AI processing for Face Recognition (1 channel), Perimeter Protection (2 channels), and SMD Plus (4 channels) directly on the NVR, eliminating the need for AI-enabled cameras. The recorder includes an integrated 8-port PoE switch (25.5W per port, 72W total) to power IP cameras, supports up to 16MP resolution, and offers two SATA bays for up to 32TB of storage. 4K HDMI and Full HD VGA outputs provide simultaneous display. The NVR also supports AI by camera for expanded analytics including ANPR, People Counting, and Heat Mapping when paired with compatible Dahua AI cameras. Quick Pick and AI Smart Search features allow rapid filtering and retrieval of footage by human or vehicle targets. It is ONVIF compliant for compatibility with third-party cameras. This unit is ideal for retail stores, offices, and small-scale sites requiring advanced AI alerts without the cost of AI cameras. HDDs are sold separately.
