AKUVOX R20K-BLK 2-Wire Keypad Video Door Phone Intercom

1. Order the matching mount kit. Flush boxes and rain covers are often separate SKUs for AKUVOX stations.
2. Plan network or 2-wire path first. IP models need stable LAN; 2-wire kits need the correct switch/adaptor.
3. Test unlock hardware separately. Commission the lock and power supply before finalising monitor programming.
4. Keep firmware matched. Update door station and indoor monitor as a pair after install.

1. Is this a door station or an indoor monitor?

This listing is categorised as Video Door Intercoms. Read the title (AKUVOX R20K-BLK 2-Wire Keypad Video Door Phone Intercom) and confirm you are ordering the outdoor station, indoor monitor, or full kit.

2. Does it need PoE or a separate power supply?

Follow the power method on this product page/datasheet. 2-wire and IP models differ — do not assume PoE unless listed.

3. Will it work in outdoor weather?

Outdoor door stations are typically weather-rated; indoor monitors are not. Mount outdoor stations under an eave or rain cover where recommended.

4. Can it unlock an electric strike or magnet lock?

Many stations provide a lock relay — confirm lock power, fail-safe vs fail-secure, and local regulations before connecting.
