The HIKVISION DS-PDPC12P-EG2 combines passive infrared motion detection with an integrated high-resolution camera to provide instant visual verification of intrusions. This hardwired detector delivers 1920x1080 resolution snapshots upon alarm triggers, allowing security operators to confirm threats without delay. With a detection range of 12 metres and 85.9-degree coverage, the unit features advanced SEC (Smart Environmental Control) algorithms to filter false alarms caused by environmental factors. The detector maintains immunity to pets weighing up to 30kg, ensuring reliability in homes with animals. Encrypted Speed-X bus communication secures data transmission over distances up to 1 kilometre, while the polarising IR lens ensures uniform night illumination for clear image capture in low-light conditions.
