Choose the lens based on both scene width and identification distance. The 2.8mm lens provides a wide 105° horizontal view, while 4mm narrows coverage to 78° and 6mm to 51°, placing progressively more image detail on subjects farther from the camera.
The 60m IR range makes this model particularly useful for longer outdoor areas. It can illuminate substantially farther than many compact turret cameras, making it suitable for driveways, warehouse yards, car parks and building perimeters.
Do not confuse DarkFighter with ColorVu. Powered-by-DarkFighter improves low-light image quality and colour retention when ambient light is available, but in darkness the camera uses infrared illumination and can switch to monochrome footage.
