The steps for using the copper fabric strip are:

1. Prepare the Ethernet cable like normal.
2. Remove the cable shield of the Ethernet cable.
3. Fold back and wrap the drain wire around the cable jacket.
4. Bond the copper fabric strip to the cable jacket while securing the drain wire under it.
5. Terminate the RJ45 plug like normal.
